The gameplay itself is tight, and it has a few fun set pieces, but it would have been better to not be labeled as Red Faction. The enemies being monsters instead of humans, and being limited to caverns with the occasional structure you could destroy were both unwelcome changes to the formula. I, however, had never played Gears of War, but had played every other Red Faction game. If you’re a fan of Gears of War, this will float your boat. Tons of guns, a robot suit and the ability to fling rubble (and aliens) long distances using the physics engine.
